High performance computing (HPC) is an essential tool if large amount of data is handled. The time efficient data analysis as well as detailed simulations usually requires much of computational capacity. The alternative of expensive supercomputers is to use cloud technology or GPU-based solutions. With such alternatives it is possible to get more computing power without large investments to hardware.

In the field of cloud technology, Kuava is participating HPC experiment in which cloud computing service models are tested.
